CAPT Lawrence Smith's one-owner 1970 2000. Purchased new in Maryland, USA in 1969, driven across country once, driven across or within some 25 US states, and in Kanagawa Japan for 2 years. Lived in downtown Washington, DC USA for half its life, and now in Norfolk, Virginia. Saved our lives twice, and was restored after one "totaling" accident in 1995, thanks to BMW CCA members.
