Here's what Thomas M. Jones says about his 1967 1800A project car:
"It's currently under a cover on the driveway waiting in line for its turn to get on the road... There is no cancerous rust other than the heavy surface stuff on the hood...
The Idea is to first do the basics o get it to go, stop and turn safely with an E21 3201 5 speed in place of the busted auto box. I have a pedal set for it and am collecting other parts for it's return to road worthiness. Who knows, in the future it may get a E36 M3 S52/US motor... and be used to tow my Dad's 1800 TI/SA to and from the track.... :shock:Oh, and I'm thinking of changing the color to Derby Grey, I love the color and like the idea that it'll cost a little less than the Polaris Silver.
